overdose-dsr asked: What did you like about Georgia Southern? What sold you when deciding which college to attend? I'm a prospective student and I love the campus, however, I don't want that to be the only thing that sells me.
The biggest selling point for me was the small feel. The staff and campus is very inviting and hospitable. My First Year Experience (FYE) professor was honest and extremely genuine in helping me choose the right major for the career I wanted to pursue. I also had convos with the Dean of Student Affairs as well as the Vice President of the university on a few occasions. Though the Southern is growing, I do believe it’s that sense of home and hospitality as well as the tight-knit community that makes for a great college experience. If you choose to go to Georgia Southern, be sure to get involved on campus as soon as you arrive. That’s a guaranteed way to have the greatest experience.
